General FAQ's

  • How many wedding guests can you accommodate? 200

  • Will there be another wedding on the same day? No

  • Will there be on-site Fairmount staff on the day of the wedding/event? Yes

  • How many cars will your parking lot accommodate? 50

  • Can vehicles be left overnight? Yes if needed

  • Is The Fairmount pet friendly? Yes, only service animals are allowed. 

  • What’s included in the venue rental? Table, chairs, table cloths, LED screen, commercial kitchen and clean up

  • Is there overnight accommodation nearby? Yes, Hyatt Place by WSU

  • If we plan to have our ceremony off-site, or plan to have only our ceremony at the Fairmount, does the fee change? No

  • Can we drop off items before the wedding? Yes

  • Does the Fairmount have handicap accessibility? Yes we have an elevator

Booking Questions

  • Do we need to schedule a tour, or can we just stop by? Schedule a tour

  • Can we schedule a self-tour to show our family and friends? No

  • Can you hold my date? Yes with a 50% down payment

  • What types of tables are in the ballroom? Round and rectangular 

  • Do you have a Bridal Suite? Yes

  • What do you require for a deposit?  50%

  • Are the deposits refundable? Yes. 100% if cancellation is prior to 90 days of the event.  If the cancellation is 60 days prior to the event you will receive 50% of the deposit.  Less than 60 days and it is non refundable. 

Planning Questions

  • How do we obtain our marriage license?  At the courthouse

  • Am I able to have my rehearsal at The Fairmount? Yes

  • Can I schedule my bridals or engagement photo session at The Fairmount? Yes

  • If I’m planning on an outdoor ceremony what happens in the event of rain or snow?  We will give you the option of having it inside 

  • What are the venue hours & usage?  Seven days a week  8:00 a.m. - 1:00a.m.

  • Can you accommodate vegan/vegetarian/allergies? Yes

Day-of Questions

  • Are sparkler exits permitted?  Yes

  • Can we add our own decorations to the wedding venue? Yes

  • Do we have to set up our own chairs and tables or take them down? Our staff can set them up and take them down

  • What are the restrictions on decorations?  No permanent destruction (no nails, screws, tape that will peel paint)

  • Do you allow candles? No

  • Are our guests allowed to smoke, vape or use e-cigs? No

  • Who provides the sound for our ceremony?  We provide sound system

  • Will we have access to the suites all day?  Yes for special events

  • What does clean-up entail?  Customer is not responsible for any clean up, but must have all personal and rented items removed
